Islamic Articles p2

1-      The knowledge of Allah is Absolute and Personal. No one can know a single word without His Will.
2-      Allah Almighty granted His Beloved Last Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم and other prophets Ilm-e-Gain out of His Personal Ilm.
3-      The knowledge of the Holy Prophet  صلى الله عليه و سلم is  more than all the creatures. It should be remembered that the Angel of Death and Satan are also included in this category.
Aulia Akram are also granted this Ilm through Holy Prophets عليه السلام . Denial of this entails renunciation of faith because this disproves many a Hadiths Sharif. The Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم has also been given the knowledge of The Day of Judgement. Besides this, his knowledge even exceeds Ilm and incidents inscribed on The Book. The Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم has also been granted the Ilm of the reality of soul and secrets of The Abbreviated Letters (Al-Muqatta’at) of the Holy Quran. There are many verses in the Holy Quran and Hadiths that substantiate this truth. Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran:
“(He Alone is) the All-Knower of the Ghaib (unseen), and He reveals to none His Ghaib (unseen), except to a Messenger (from mankind) whom He has chosen, …     (72:26,27)
Now think, who would be more beloved of Allah among mankind than our Beloved Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم whom Allah will be pleased with. At another place Allah Almighty says:
“And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills……”           (2:255)
“…nor will Allah disclose to you the secretes of the Ghaib (unseen), but Allah chooses of His Messangers whom He wills…”             (3:179)
Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran: ‘O My (dear) Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم I have made you learn everything that is in the Quran.’ In the same Holy Quran, Allah Almighty says that ‘there is nothing dry or wet thing which is not mentioned in this Book’. Then imagine what else remains that is not given to the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم. The only difference is that the Knowledge of Allah is Personal and the knowledge of Prophets and Aulia Akram is a bestowal of Allah.  At another place it is said, وما هو على الغيب بضنين. ( التكوير 24) And he (Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) withholds not a knowledge of the Unseen.”          (81:24)
Now, I would like to quote some of Hadiths. It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abdual Rehman bin Maesh in Mishkat Sharif that the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم  said that,’I saw my Lord in good face; Allah Almighty placed His Blessed Hand on my chest and I felt its coolness in my Qalb (heart). I came to know every thing that is in the heavens and the earth’. It is reported in Bukhari Sharif that the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم happened to pass by two graves in which the dead were being tortured. The Holy Prophet  صلى الله عليه و سلم said, ‘these two men are being tortured, not for any major thing but one did not use to save himself from urine and the second used to backbite others.’
There is a Hadith in Bukhari Sharif that the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم  stood on pulpit and talked about The Day of Judgement. He said, ‘if anyone wants to ask anything, should ask; by God, until I am on this pulpit, I will answer your every question’. Besides this there are many other Hadiths which show that the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم knew about the unseen. The next period in Pakistan’s history begins with the defeat of Raj Jaipal and his son Anandpal, rulers of northern areas of Pakistan, and of the Ismaili and Carmathian rulers of southern areas i.e., Multan and Sind at the hands of Mahmud Ghaznavi, leading to the unity of the two region. Eleventh century ushered in an era of Muslim rule over the entire length and breadth of Pakistan. During the 32 years of his rule Mahmud invaded Pakistan and India more than 17 times and though he carried his successful arms up to Muthra, Kanauj, Baran and Gawaliar, he did not annex any area beyond Ravi. As such, Pakistan continued to remain separate from India, again looking westward constituting a part of the Ghaznavi Empire. The boundaries also were almost the same which had been coming down from the days of the Indus Valley Civilization. It will be notice that this phenomena of Pakistan forming a separate country with its eastern boundaries running upto either Ravi, Beas or Sutlej has been recurring again and again.

Yes we should celebrate it every year

And every month and every week

And every hour and every moment.

Dr. `Isa al-Mani` al-Humayri, Department of Awqaaf, Dubai (U.A.E)

Office of Religious Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Dubai Administration of Ifta' and Research

We find nowadays publications filled with lies and deception which mislead many Muslims into thinking negatively about the

honorable Mawlid of the Prophet. These publications claim that to celebrate the Mawlid is an act of innovation that goes against

Islam. This is far from the truth, and it is therefore necessary for those who can speak clearly to help clarify and reverse the doubts

surrounding this most blessed day. It is with this humble intention that I present the following proofs in support of celebrating our

beloved Prophet's birthday.

The Prophet said, "He who innovates something in this matter of ours that is not of it will have it rejected." He also said, "Beware of

innovations, for every innovation (kul bida`) is misguidance."

Those opposed to Mawlid cite this saying and hold that the word every (kul) is a term of generalization, including all types of

innovations, with no exception, and that therefore, celebrating Mawlid is misguidance. By daring to say that, they accuse the scholars

of Islam of innovation. At the top of the list of those they have accused, then, is our Master `Umar (RadiAllahoAnho). Those in opposition to Mawlid
quickly reply to this, "But we did not mean the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad."
It follows, then, that the meaning of every (kul) cannot be taken in its general sense. Therefore, although the Prophet may not have
said to celebrate his blessed birthday, it is nonetheless not innovation to do so. For, as the following examples show, there were
many actions and practices instituted by his close followers after his time that are not deemed innovation.
Compiling the Qu'ran.
(From a Prophetic saying related by Zaid Ibn Thabit.(RadiAllahoAnho)) "The Prophet died and the Qu'ran had not been compiled anywhere. `Umar
(RadiAllahoAnho) suggested to Abu Bakr (RadiAllahoAnho) to compile the Qu'ran in one book. When a large number of Companions were killed in the battle of
Yamama, Abu Bakr wondered, "How could we do something that the Prophet did not do?' `Umar said, "By Allah, it is good.' `Umar
persisted in asking Abu Bakr until Allah expanded his chest for it (Allah made him agree and accept these suggestions) and he sent
for Zaid Ibn Thabit and assigned him to compile the Qu'ran." Zaid said, "By Allah if they had asked me to move a mountain, it would
not have been more difficult than to compile the Qur'an." He also said, "How could you do something that the Prophet did not do?"
Abu Bakr said, "It is good, and `Umar kept coming back to me until Allah expanded my chest for the matter." The saying is narrated
in Sahih Al Bukhari.

The Maqam of Ibrahim (AlehiSalam) in relation to the Ka'ba.

(Al Bayhaqi narrated with a strong chain of narrators from Aisha.) "The Maqam during the time of the Prophet and Abu Bakr was

attached to the House, then `Umar moved it back." Al Hafiz Ibn Hajar said in Al Fath, "The Companions did not oppose `Umar,

neither did those who came after them, thus it became unanimous agreement." He was the first to build the enclosure (maqsura) on

it, which still exists today.

25    Tales    of
Graveyard
*
No matter how much Satan tries to distract you, ensure that you
read this entire booklet to the end;
your faith will
be revitalized.
1. Torment lifted from 560 graves
‘Allāmaĥ Abū ‘Abdullāĥ Muhammad bin Aḥmad Mālikī Qurṭubī has narrated: A woman once visited the blessed court of Sayyidunā  Ḥasan Baṣrī (R.A) and requested,‘My young daughter has passed away. Please let me know how I can see her in my dream.’ He told her what to do.So she saw
her deceased daughter in the dream, however in the  state that she was  dressed  in  clothing  made  from  colophony, she had chains  around  her  neck,  and  her  feet  were  bound  together. Upon seeing that horrific scene, the mother began totremble. Amīr-e-Aĥl-e-Sunnat delivered this speech in the weekly Sunnaĥ-Inspiring congregation of Dawate-Islami, the global non-political movement for propagating of Quran and Sunnaĥ, on 10 Sha’bān-ulMu’aẓẓam, 1431 (22 July, 2010). It is being presented in rinted form with amendments and additions. Majlis aktaba-tul-Madina 25 Tales of Graveyard
The next day she related that dream to Sayyidunā Ḥasan Baṣrī who saddened upon hearing it. After some time, Sayyidunā Ḥasan Baṣrī saw a girl in his dream who was sitting on a throne with a crown adorned onher head. Upon seeing him, she said, ‘I am the daughter of thewoman who told you of my state.’ Sayyidunā Ḥasan Baṣrī  then said, According to her, you were being punished by Allah !  How  did  this  transformation  take  place?’The deceased
girl  replied,  ‘A  person  passed  by  the  graveyard  and  recited Ṣalāt upon the Beloved Prophet
3'
! , and due to the  blessings  of  his  Ṣalāt-‘Alan-Nabī,  the  torment  from  560 graves  was  lifted.’  (Derived from Tażkiraĥ fī Aḥwāl-ul-Mautā-o-Umūr-il-Ākhiraĥ, Vol. 1, p. 74)Basūay kūay Madīnaĥ bařĥo Durūd pařĥo Jo tum ko chāĥiye Jannat pařĥo Durūd pařĥo Advance towards Madīnaĥ and recite Durūd If you desire Jannaĥ, then recite Durūd 2. The entire graveyard was forgiven by virtue of the supplication of a saint
Dear  Islamic  brothers,  from  this  we  learn  that  recitation  of Ṣalāt-‘Alan-Nabī contains great lessings and when it is recited 25 Tales of raveyard
by the tongue of a devotee of the Holy Prophet then  its virtue is  even  greater.  It  is  possible  that  he  is  distinguished  in  the court  of  Allah that  by  virtue  of  his  passing  by  the graveyard  and  reciting  Ṣalāt-‘Alan-Nabī,  the  punishment  of
560  dead  people  is  lifted.  It  is  certainly  beneficial to  take  the devotees  of  the  Holy  Prophet  out  of  respect  to  the  graves  of
your relatives and to request them to send Īṣāl-e-Šawāb there. What can be said about the blessings of the feet ofthe Auliyā! Once Sayyidunā Shaykh Ismā’īl Ḥaḍramī passed through a graveyard, stood beside a grave and wept alot. Then after a short while he spontaneously began to smile. When he
was  asked  about  that  he  said,  ‘I  saw  that  the  people  of  this graveyard  were  being  punished,  so  I  began  to  weep  intensely and pray to Allah  for their forgiveness. Then it was said to me: Go! We have accepted your intercession regarding these
people.’ Having said that, he indicated towards a grave which had  been  made  in  the  corner  and  said,  ‘The  woman  in that grave said, ‘O Faqīĥ Ismā’īl! I was a singer and a musician; have I  also  been  forgiven?’  I  replied,  ‘Yes,  you  are  also from  those who  have  been  forgiven.’  This  was  the  reason  why  I  smiled.’ (Sharḥ-uṣ-Ṣudūr, p. 06)
May  the  mercy  of  Allah  be  upon  him,  and  may  we  be forgiven for his sake
25 Tales of Graveyard Dear Islamic brothers, the status of the blessed Auliyā 67is astounding! The states of graves are apparent for  them, they are able to converse with the people of the graves; punishment is lifted due to their supplications and requests. Ifthe people of the graves call out to them, then these blessed individuals hear them and help them. May Allah forgive us without accountability for their sake. Ĥam ko sāray Auliyā say piyār ĥay
Apnā bayřā pār ĥay Three sayings of Mustafa
We  should  also  visit  the  graveyard  and  see  the  graves  of  the Muslims, because this is a Sunnaĥ, it is a means ofremembering the Hereafter, it is a means of forgiveness for oneself, and it is a
cause  of  benefit  for  the  people  of  the  graves.  In  this  regard, three sayings of Mustafa ! are presented below: 1.  I  had  prohibited  you  from  visiting  graves,  but  now  you should  visit  the  graves  because  this  is  a  means  of becoming disinclined to the world, and it reminds of the
Hereafter. (Sunan Ibn Mājaĥ, Vol. 2, p. 252, Ḥadīš 1571) 25 Tales of Graveyard 2.  When anyone passes by a grave of someone who he knew
in the world and he gives Salām to him, then the deceased recognizes him and replies to his Salām.  (Tārīkh-ul-Baghdad, Vol. 2, p. 135, Ḥadīš 3175)
3.  Whoever  visits  the  graves  of  one  or  both  of  his  parents every Friday, he will be forgiven and will be recorded as a pious person. (Shu’ab-ul-Īmān, Vol. 6, p. 201, Ḥadīš 7901)3. ‘Umar Fārūq conversing with the people of the graves
Amīr-ul-Mūminīn Sayyidunā Fārūq-e-A’ẓam
9 once passed  by  a  graveyard  and  said,
Peace be upon you, O people of the grave!)’ The latest news is that your widows have married again, new people have  settled in  your  houses,  and  your  inheritance  has  been  distributed.’ Then a voice was heard, ‘O ‘Umar! Our latest news is we have received  the  return  of  the  good  deeds  that  we  performed during our life, and we also received the benefit of the money that we spent in the path of Allah and we have suffered loss in that which we left in the world.’ (Sharḥ-uṣ-Ṣudūr, p. 209)
May  the  mercy  of  Allah  be  upon  him,  and  may  we  be forgiven for his sake!
